New Xero Plans

Xero has announced a new line-up of plans for New Zealand customers, as well as changes to pricing for current Xero business plan subscriptions in New Zealand.

From 12 September 2024, Xero is simplifying partner plans down to two (Xero Ledger and Xero Cashbook), launching three new streamlined business plans (Xero Ignite, Xero Grow and Xero Comprehensive), and enhancing the Ultimate plan.

The new plans will replace Xero’s GST Cashbook, Starter, Standard and Premium plans which will no longer be sold from 12 September 2024 and Add-ons will no longer be available for separate purchase.

This means if you sign on from that date, or upgrade or downgrade from that date, you will only be able to choose one of the new plans.

Phased move to new plans

No action is required at this stage and for many there’ll be no noticeable change. CATAS will be in touch in advance to advise when your plan will be changing.

• Where a subscription price for a new plan is lower or remains the same (compared with 12 September 2024) – Xero will move the subscription to a new plan in February 2025
• Where a subscription price will increase once on a new plan (compared with 12 September 2024) – Xero will move the subscription to a new plan in September 2025
